A Little Comfort: Closing 2025 with Simple Moments

As 2025 comes to a close, it’s the simple moments we share that matter most, especially when spent with people who feel like home. Inspired by the spirit of the FRIENDS TV series and the comfort found in time spent together, Domma created A Little Comfort, an intimate gathering held at Other Half Café, Jakarta. The gathering was part of the launch of Domma’s Friends Collection, bringing Dommates together to experience up close.

To bring that feeling of comfort to life, we invited our Dommates to create personal memories through a series of hands-on activities. The evening began with photo charm making, where participants used flannel fabric, wool threads, beads, and polaroid photos to create photo-frame charms. Each piece was designed to hold a personal memory and carry a sense of comfort, wherever life goes next.

As the night continued, the gathering eased into dinner, where Dommates sat together, mingled, and shared stories over food. Conversations flowed naturally, laughter filled the space, and the room slowly warmed with familiar faces, new connections, and moments that felt easy and unforced.

The evening came to a close with cake decorating, using mini cake tarts freely adorned with fruits, chocolate, and whipped cream. More than the final result, the activity was about enjoying the process together, with the hope that each cake could later be shared at home, passing along a little of the warmth from the night.

At its heart, A Little Comfort was a reminder that sometimes the best way to close the year is with quiet moments shared with people who are present for you. We are very grateful to be able to connect more closely with our Dommates, sharing time, stories, and genuine moments together. To carry that feeling forward, each Dommate went home with a piece from Domma’s Friends Collection, bringing a sense of comfort from the night into their everyday moments.
